What is the process of purchasing?
A) The projected completion time varies on multiple factors:
If you live in a community with an association you'll need to obtain their approval before any work can begin. Association Approval: 2-4 weeks
Their approval is required before we can apply and obtain a permit from the building department in your area. If you do not live in an association we can skip this step and begin to apply and obtain a permit. Permit Application: 2-4 weeks
Once the permit has been submitted we can begin the manufacturing process. Manufacturing: 3-7 business days
Once we've completed manufacturing we call to schedule an installation with you. Installation: 1-2 days depending on the size of your home
After installation has been completed we call the building department for an inspection and once we pass the inspection the process is complete.

Can I get a credit for existing panels?
Yes you can receive a credit for your existing panels when you upgrade with us. Please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with an estimate.
What is the best way to maintain my shutters?
We recommend cleaning and lubricating your accordion shutters yearly. To clean your accordions you can use water and clear the tracks to the best of your ability. The cleaner the tracks are, the smoother they'll operate. To lubricate use a small amount of silicone basedspray lubricant or white lithium grease in the top corners of each track and then pull them shut and back closed again. The bottom tracks do not need to be lubricated, only cleared of any obstructions.
